While creating the album of my trip to NYC (see post, My Trip to AGPNYC), I updated my album of sewing projects. I don?t think that I have posted this before so if you are interested, here are some of the outfits I have made for my dolls:

Very pretty. You do lovely work Christine. I love the fabric that you've made the tote from.

Great album! You do a beautiful job sewing. I think that I recognized a few patterns that I own. I'll have to try them out now.

Beautiful work, Christine! I love your Kit so much, her hair is shorter like my AG Kit's hair. That green dress almost looks like one of my favorite ones to make, a Simplicity I think.

Do you have a favorite bathing suit pattern that works extra well for you? I'd love to know what patterns you used for the various items, but if you make these clothes to sell as well as for your own use, I understand if you'd rather not say. Some do look familiar so I'm sure I have them in my massive stash, lol.

Outstanding work, your dollies are lucky! If I can ever tear myself away from sewing for Barbie orders long enough, my dolly girls would love me to make some new things for them to wear.

Lovely! You do beautiful work! And I agree, your Kit is particularly gorgeous.

Do you design your own patterns? If you used a pattern for Kit's dress I'd love to know what it was.

    Thanks!

Thanks for all the lovely compliments.

I generally use the pattern's available at Jo Ann's but sometimes I do modify and change them. When I was younger and didn't have extra money to spend on sewing supplies, I attempted to draft my own patterns. I did ok on some things, but looking back I wasn't very good. Now that I have more free time (and money to spend on my hobbie), I am hoping to get more creative and slowly learn how to draft more of my own patterns.

I don't sell any of my dresses. (It takes me too long to make them and I have always had a problem parting with anything that I have made) So I don't mind sharing what patterns I use. I added the pattern make and number to the captions in my album, if you are interested.

Also Tari, my favorite bathing suit pattern is Simplicity 7688. An easy pattern and fits around the dolls' backsides really well. If the material isn't strechy enough, I add velcro to the back.

Thanks again for all the compliments.
